Maison Villevert is taking concrete action to reduce its carbon footprint. Since 2021, the company has been optimizing its energy consumption and favoring short supply chains.
By 2024, it will achieve a 63% reduction in the carbon footprint per employee, exceeding the targets set for 2030.
The installation of low-energy equipment and the continuous improvement of production processes reinforce this dynamic. Reducing the weight of packaging and limiting unnecessary transport complement this approach. Employees are raised awareness through dedicated training.


Environmentally friendly agricultural practices
Maison Villevert places sustainable agriculture at the heart of its approach. Domaine du Pérat is certified High Environmental Value (HVE) and Cognac Environmental Certification (CEC).
Biodiversity is protected through the planting of honey-producing hedges and the installation of beehives. Soil management promotes microbial life and reduces erosion.
Chemical treatments are banned in favor of natural solutions. Sustainable irrigation limits water consumption. Harvests are carried out manually to preserve the vines and local wildlife.
This approach guarantees healthy grapes that respect their terroir. Every agricultural action is designed to fit into the natural cycle of the seasons.

Maison Villevert integrates eco-responsibility into the design of its products. Most packaging materials are recyclable or sourced from sustainable sources. Labels use eco-friendly inks and certified paper.
