Served over ice in a tumbler glass, this blend perfectly balances the complexity of whisky with the liveliness of ginger. Ideal as an aperitif, it can be personalized to your liking with lime, lemon, or a slice of orange. Also try it with ginger beer for a more robust version. A classic revisited.
Ingredients
Whiskey & Ginger
- 50 ml Gwalarn Celtic Blend
- 100 ml Ginger ale or ginger beer
- (Optional) 2 drops of Angostura bitters
Decoration: 1 lime, yellow or orange wedge
Preparation
Add ice cubes to a tumbler glass. Pour in Gwalarn Celtic Blend, then top up with ginger ale (Fever Tree, Canada Dry, Schweppes)*
Mix gently.
Garnish with a lime, yellow or orange wedge
*You can replace the ginger ale with Ginger beer (Three Cents)
