Orange d'Or is a complex and elegant amber orange liqueur, made from a refined blend of cognac, armagnac, brandy and natural flavors, aged for at least 3 years in Bourbon barrels to offer a rich and balanced tasting experience.

Description

Brand History:

Many liqueurs were born in Cognac, some very famous, and the region's liqueur tradition has not wavered since the 19th century.
Orange d'Or continues this long tradition by offering a table liqueur born a few years ago, designed to be digestive thanks to careful aging. This product embodies the region's historical know-how by combining respect for ancient methods with contemporary standards.

Manufacturing Method:

Orange d'Or liqueur is made from a blend of agricultural alcohol (around 71%), cognac (11%), natural bitter orange flavors (2%) and sugar.
This base is then enriched with very old Armagnacs from the 1979 vintage (11%) and brandy (5%). The blend is aged for at least 3 years in ex-American Bourbon barrels. After racking, a maceration with Burgundy blackcurrant buds is carried out to enhance the complexity and elegance of the liqueur. The bottles then rest for a few months before being marketed.

Nose : Subtle notes of orange mixed with aromas of old cognac, Armagnac and brandy, with an elegant touch of blackcurrant bud.
Palate : Supple, smooth and complex, without aggression.
Finish : Bitter and woody orange, sweet and persistent.

Tasting Tips:

To be enjoyed pure and very fresh, as an aperitif or at the end of a meal, between 4 and 6°C.

To enhance classic cocktails like the Sidecar, where it amplifies the citrus notes of cognac and lemon, or in a Margarita with Excellia™ Tequila, for a perfect balance between roundness and vegetal freshness.
