Description
Brand History:
The spirit of Grosperrin cognacs is rooted in the desire to bear unadorned witness to the heritage of the Charente region. Guilhem Grosperrin, a true artisan of cognac, travels the lands of the appellation every year in search of exclusive lots and family legacies. In their restored 19th-century cellar in Saintes, the cognacs are matured as unique works of art, serving as a faithful reflection of a terroir, a plot, a vintage, and a history.
While some blend lots of different origins to create quality products, Cognacs Grosperrin crafts cognacs that are intrinsically unique and rare, recognizable above all others.
Production Method:
This vintage cognac comes from the private stocks of a sworn broker, who had the opportunity to purchase this lot consisting of about ten casks. This 27-year-old Bons Bois came under state control shortly after its distillation, where it spent the majority of its aging, until Grosperrin purchased it a few years ago.
Nose: Notes of candied, almost roasted fruits, with a saline touch.
Palate: A warm and indulgent finesse that reveals all the perceived aromas. This makes the Grosperrin Bons Bois 27-year-old cognac a unique sensory experience.
Finish: A slight salinity that extends the tasting while adding depth to the rediscovered flavors.
In short, the Grosperrin Bons Bois 27-year-old cognac is more than just a drink; it is an invitation to discover the heritage of the Charente.
