Description
Brand history:
The village of Lorignac is located in the Fins Bois Cru region, near the Gironde estuary. This geographical location imparts freshness and minerality to the Cognac. This location also gives its young eaux-de-vie a distinctive freshness and minerality.
The year 2011 is known for its particularly high temperatures, resulting in early harvests.
These conditions will favor the fruity aromatic bouquet of Lorignac, reminiscent of summer fruits.
Small in size with significant agricultural activity, the village of Lorignac is characteristic of this vintage.
Its name actually comes from the Latin "Villa de Bacchus" which clearly illustrates the importance of wine for this town, and this has been the case for centuries.
Manufacturing method:
The Cognac Guild adopts an artisanal and terroir-focused approach, selecting a single village and an independent distiller for each cru. Each Cognac is a blend made exclusively from this single cru, reflecting the distiller's traditional expertise and the unique characteristics of their terroir. Local winemaking, double distillation in Charentais stills, and aging in oak barrels in the village of origin: this plot-by-plot method highlights the pure and singular identity of each territory.
Color : Golden yellow
Nose: Summer fruits, green tea aromas
Palate: White fruits; a touch of honey
