Description

Brand history:

Saint-Germain-de-Vibrac is situated on the wooded slopes of the Petite Champagne appellation. This chalky soil provides the ideal conditions for producing refined and elegant cognacs. Harvested in 2007 after a turbulent summer, the wines are distilled on their lees in a small copper still. The eaux-de-vie are then aged in wide-grained oak barrels, enhancing and capturing the very essence of this village.

Manufacturing method:

The Cognac Guild adopts an artisanal and terroir-focused approach, selecting a single village and an independent distiller for each cru. Each Cognac is a blend made exclusively from this single cru, reflecting the distiller's traditional expertise and the unique characteristics of their terroir. Local winemaking, double distillation in Charentais stills, and aging in oak barrels in the village of origin: this plot-by-plot method highlights the pure and singular identity of each territory.
