The Caïpi Bonny is a modern twist on the caipirinha, made with Anne Bonny™ Spiced Rum, offering a perfect balance between the acidity of lime and the sweetness of sugar syrup. Muddled with a pestle and mixed with crushed ice, it's served in an old-fashioned glass and garnished with a lime wedge. For a touch of extra crunch, add a sprinkle of brown sugar.
Ingredients
Bonny Caipirinha
- 40 ml Anne Bonny™ Spiced Rum
- ½ lime cut into 4
- 5 ml simple sugar syrup
Preparation
Place the lime, Anne Bonny™ Spiced Rum, and sugar syrup in the bottom of an old-fashioned glass. You can add ½ bar spoon of brown sugar for crunch, then muddle everything with a muddler. Top with crushed ice or ice cubes and stir. Garnish with a lime wedge.
