Description

Brand History:

Saint-Germain-de-Vibrac is located on the wooded slopes of the Petite Champagne cru. This chalky terroir provides the best conditions for producing refined and elegant cognacs. Harvested in 2007 after a turbulent summer, the wines are distilled on lees in a small copper still. The eaux-de-vie are then aged in wide-grained oak barrels, elevating and capturing the full essence of this village.

Manufacturing Method:

The Cognac Guild adopts an artisanal and terroir-based approach by selecting a single village and an independent distiller for each vintage. Each Cognac is a blend made exclusively from this unique vintage, reflecting the distiller's traditional expertise and the specific characteristics of their terroir. Local vinification, double distillation in a Charente still, and aging in oak barrels in the village of origin: this parcel-by-parcel method highlights the pure and unique identity of each region.
