Founded in 1997, Celtic Whisky Distillery is one of the first French distilleries dedicated to crafting whisky. Located in Pleubian, on the north coast of Brittany, just a few meters from the sea, the oceanic climate imparts a unique maritime character to its whiskies. A pioneer of French whisky, the distillery combines specific techniques that guarantee whisky production in the purest artisanal tradition: open-flame distillation, slow distillation, the use of traditional equipment such as two small pot stills and wooden fermenters, and of course, aging by the sea. Thanks to its commitment to quality, it has become one of the most awarded distilleries in France.

Manufacturing method:

Kornog Oloroso Single Cask 2025 is a peated single malt matured in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, selected for their ability to impart depth, richness, and complexity. This type of cask, among the most sought-after in the world of whisky, enriches Kornog's characteristic peat with warm, sun-drenched notes.

Raised by the sea, this single cask whisky fully benefits from the maritime influences of Brittany. It is bottled at cask strength (59.2% ABV) to preserve all the aromatic richness and natural structure of the whisky.

This limited edition consists of 634 numbered bottles.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Maritime peat, minerality, smoky malt. Gourmet notes of orange blossom, ginger, toasted nuts and ripe plums.
Palate: A frank and lively attack. Development of smoky and candied orange notes, with a beautiful structure.
Finish: Long and elegant, marked by cocoa and blond tobacco.
