Brand History:
Created in 1997, Celtic Whisky Distillerie is one of the first French distilleries to dedicate itself to the creation of whiskies. In Pleubian, on the north coast of Brittany, just a few meters from the sea, the oceanic climate gives the whiskies a unique maritime character. A pioneer in French whisky, the distillery brings together specific features that guarantee whisky production in the purest artisanal tradition: open-flame heating, slow distillation, the use of traditional equipment such as two small "Pot Still" stills and wooden fermenters, and, of course, aging by the sea. Thanks to its commitment to quality, it has become one of the most awarded in France.
Production Method:
Gwalarn Pure Malt is a premium 100% malt Celtic blend. It combines the uniqueness of several malt whiskies aged in Scotland and Germany with the finesse of our French malts, before being slowly reduced with spring water.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Complex, rich, and intense
Palate: The promise perceived on the nose is fulfilled with a frank and lively attack, supported by a slightly peated character. The suppleness of vanilla and honey provides a beautiful creaminess in the mid-palate.
Finish: Persistent length, with fine and elegant aromas.
Gwalarn French whisky stands out for its unique character and artisanal craftsmanship. Each sip reveals a subtle harmony between tradition and innovation, making Gwalarn a preferred choice for whisky enthusiasts. Do not miss the opportunity to taste this Gwalarn French whisky, a symbol of refined expertise that elevates every tasting moment.
